The short answer? Yes. The long answer? Please read on to find out.

An atheist recently responded to one of my recent posts, titled “When You Live Your Life Apart From God“. You can read the original post here.

This individual claims no belief in God, yet states to possess a meaningful life full of purpose even though he denies the very God who put breath in his lungs. Are his claims true? Let us consider the atheistic view in light of scripture to find out.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. (Isaiah 1:18-20)

So, this written work is to address all atheists who do not believe in God, who try to lean on flawed humanistic logic above perfect divine truth.

This atheist who responded to my blog post inherently believes that he refuted the notion that the human soul needs God for salvation, purpose, meaning, and fulfillment. However, he will never be able to refute this because truth cannot be refuted.

Atheism relies heavily on scientific “proof”. This science that atheists rely on for their worldview is actually pseudo-science, not true science. Because true science does not disprove God, it only leads to the truth of God’s existence. For instance, when we look at an automobile, it would be completely irrational to believe that the car made itself or came together from absolutely nothing. Can you imagine 4 perfect rounded wheels, each the exact same size, just forming from a big purposeless and chaotic explosion? Can you imagine a fan engine materializing from thin air, a muffler appearing from nowhere? Can you imagine all of these components (along with hundreds of other parts) of an automobile coming together in perfect puzzled unison to create a working car?!

No, that is utterly irrational and foolish to think that it just came from a big bang. But why is it so difficult to believe that human beings, animals, nature, the earth – which is inherently so much more complex, mysterious and beautiful than a man-made car – why is it so hard to believe that humans and animals and nature came and formed ultimately from an explosion and that ‘nothing‘ created it?

If you are of a humbled mind, you can see how absurd this would be. We all know it takes an entire team of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and safety engineers, create automobiles; multiple disciplines working together. It takes intelligence, intent, work, power, planning, mathematics, preciseness, and effort to create an automobile. Yet, in the mind of an atheist, the human body, which is so much more detailed, intricate, and complex…came from absolutely no intelligent design. It came from nothing in the mind of an atheist. Because of this, life is completely meaningless to an atheist, including his and her own life.

It isn’t just the human form that is intricate and complex, this holds true for every little thing in existence. Every little thing, even from the tiniest ant to a leaf, to a single snowflake, to the majestically grandeur mountains, to the single wing of a bird, to the sun, to the human heart, is so complex and so obviously designed, that it is absolutely irrational to think it was not created. How can one think everything came from nothing? Nothing cannot produce anything because it is…well, nothing. Even if in the beginning matter did exist, matter is still considered something and being that matter is not eternal energy, it will eventually fizzle out. Something or Someone had to exist before matter. And whether you believe or not does not change His existence. God is the Creator of all this through Jesus Christ.

The Bible has something to say about those who do not believe in God. God’s word says atheists are a fool because deep inside they know God exists yet they suppress that truth deep down inside the pit of their soul. Their deep hatred for God causes them to suppress the truth regarding His existence. They do not disbelieve in God; indeed, they believe in Him, yet have hatred for Him so they refuse to humble themselves. This is why you see atheists get ruffled up by Christians so often – because Christians are speaking the truth of what atheists, deep down in the core of their soul know is true yet hate with a passionate hatred. They are convicted in the presence of truth (Christians).

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. (Psalm 14:1)

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:19-20)

Atheist like to trust in their intellect which will never bring them to actual truth, because human intellect can and will never supersede God who made man’s mind, the Creator must supersede His own creation.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

What atheists don’t realize, to their own destruction, is that their “intellect” gives them a false hope. They hope for nothing in this world and believe in nothing which makes their life of the upmost meaningless. They can deny being miserable in their spirit all they want, but the truth of the matter is is that their soul is not reconciled to God, and therefore true joy for them will never be found until they trust in Christ.

Trying to make a claim that people in other cultures or religions are happy is a false argument because being outwardly happy or content does not mean they do not need God. Being “outwardly” happy is one thing, but I’m talking about the heart, spirit, and soul – the true self, not the outward self. One can observe another and come to the conclusion they are happy based on superficial findings; however, that person or people group in observation can indeed be miserable although it may be contrary to what they portray to the world. This would be an obvious understanding in rational intellect regarding social behaviour and social normatives, especially given the “false mask” of the Facebook and Instagram age we are currently (and regrettably) in.

Indeed, one simply cannot look on the outside of another and claim to know what is true in their spirit or heart. One, however, can make the determination based on spiritual truths in understanding that the human soul is desperate for God and until that soul turns to its Creator in humble trust and repentance, that soul’s existence is miserable and meaningless. There is no way one can be truly content or have purpose without God.  The fact that other religions (such as Native Americans who practice paganism) worship false and evil “gods” and act in wicked ways according to their false religion proved they are empty and in despair for meaning. They traded the truth of God for a lie, and so atheists you in their disbelief.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (Romans 1:25)

Atheists are trading the truth of God for the lie of atheism. Atheism leaves individuals hopeless, they live a life devoid of real meaning. Sure you can become rich, acquire cars, homes and other material needs but when you die will you take those things with you? The reason why people become atheists is that they want to be their own god, they want to live in sin, they indulge unrighteousness and drink it up like water. But they don’t want to be accountable to anyone. Atheists do not want to be held accountable for anything in this life. They are saturated in their own pride and refuse to answer to anyone, so they suppress the truth of God and insist they are their own god. They cannot fathom that there’s an authority greater than themselves, an intelligence higher than themselves, and a Creator who demands something from them. So they walk through their life delusional in thinking that flawed and limited man is the highest authority and intelligence in existence. They base their entire worldview on only what they can see, and completely reject what they can’t see as being anything worthy of consideration. Because they can’t see it, they reject it. They claim to lean on science, yet science itself claims that wind and love exists even though it is unseen to the natural eye. This is a false dichotomy. Atheists only believe what fits their agenda, not what the actual truth is.

Atheist’s pride in the end will be destructive to their own soul, once they die and face the judgement of God. When this happens, they will realize that they were wrong about God’s existence and the deception they believed that humanity just appeared here from a Big Bang. They will deeply regret not trusting in Christ and submitting to Him as King of kings and Lord of lords. They will weep and gnash their teeth, wishing they listened to Christians like me speaking the truth about God and salvation. If they continue to submerse themselves in their own pride, walking this earth that they didn’t create, enjoying their family that they didn’t create, enjoying sunsets that they didn’t create, yet stubbornly refusing their very own Creator, they will walk straight to eternal destruction.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. (Hebrews 9:27)

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 8:12)

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. (Provers 16:18)

Can atheists honestly believe the complexities of the human brain was an accident? The human eye with all it’s intricate muscles which help to focus better and more accurately than a camera just appeared out of nothing? The eyes alone are so precise that they focus or unfocus without you thinking about it, and both your eyes can view objects with much more accuracy than any man-made device. I am confident when I say that just the eye alone is enough to prove immensely and sufficiently of God’s existence.

But atheists fail to see with the eyes that God has given them the truth of His existence and majesty. Looking at His creation, something so small as an eye shows forth His wonders and power, creativeness and beauty. How can they be blind to this, so to speak?

Atheists are foolish because they are living their life breathing with lungs and a heart inside your chest, keeping them alive, that they didn’t put there, yet they try to believe that it just formed from a goop of primordial soup billions of years ago, fast forward to today and all of a sudden here’s a complex, precisely put together human being that is so obviously designed to function with purpose. All of a sudden, here’s a human with so much complexity that trying to fully understand the brain alone would take humanity a million lifetimes. It’s irrational and illogical, devoid of reason. In lieu of this, atheists still esteem themselves as highly intellectual and say those who affirm a Creator are of a lower IQ. Yet, in the same breath, they will proclaim that humans came from apes! What mindless conclusions!

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)

Indeed, atheists do not possess true intellect, but folly. And unfortunately, folly that will cause them to end up being punished eternally for it if they do not humble themselves before the one true God Jesus Christ, and stop trying to be their own God which will lead them to their own detriment.

The truth is, God did create all of humanity and the world around us whether atheists like it or not, whether they believe it or not, and no matter how superficially happy they claim to be. (Emphasis on superficially).  Truth cannot be changed whether you choose to believe or not; truth remains a fact because God ordained it to be so. Fire consumes wood for-instance, would that change because you choose not to believe it? Of course not, the same holds true for the existence of God.

There’s no fulfillment in life apart from the one true God. That goes for anyone – those who simply believe there is no God, and those worshipping false gods such as Muslims, Hindus, Native Americans, and Jehovah’s witnesses, amongst many others. How can you be fulfilled when you don’t have salvation of your soul? You are living in complete and utter darkness and there’s nothing you can do outside of God to be truly fulfilled, you’re life is but a vapour:

James 4:14-16 Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

Because you do not believe the truth of God, you are blind, deaf, and in darkness:

 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. [But to those who trusted in Christ], But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. (Matthew 13:13-15).

There’s only one truth. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. There aren’t many ways, there is only one way. There aren’t many truths, there is only one truth. There is only life found in Christ, and if you have not life in Christ, you are spiritually dead and do not have life at all.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Either there is a God, or there isn’t a God. How can you (an atheist) look at all the beauty of the world and think that there is no intelligent creator who created all of this?! When you look into the mathematical aspect of nature and creation, you’ll see that everything is mathematically precise. Look up the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio. There’s literal coding behind ALL existence, including your DNA, which proves of an intelligent Creator behind all of creation. You think a big explosion could create perfect and precise mathematical code? Absolutely not. And you are sincerely deceived and living in falsity, to your own detriment. You’ve been lied to about your religion (atheism) and accepted it as truth, but it is not truth, it is only a lie – one that is unfortunately sending multitudes of people to hell.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:18-23, 28-32)

Your rejection of God and the gospel will have severe consequences on your own soul. You can lie to your heart all you want that you don’t need God and that you’re perfectly content without him, but God knows your heart and that you are simply deceiving yourself. You need Jesus Christ, He is God in the flesh who is the only answer to true salvation, love, fulfillment. You will end up in hell and be lost forever if you do not let go of your pride and arrogance and finally surrender to the God who created you.

In regards to the meaninglessness of an atheist, I do not say that the family of an atheist is meaningless, I made the statement that family is a gift from God and it’s beautiful and wonderful. I’m certain that there are many atheists who love their family and find fulfillment in it, but you see, my point is that familial fulfillment will only last but a moment in the grand scheme of your existence – what really matters is not your earthly family, but your soul and the souls in your family, and where those souls will end up once they breathe their last breath. At the end of the day, if you and your family end up in hell for not trusting in Christ, your life spent enjoying your family will be meaningless. If you end up in hell, everything is meaningless.

Jesus Christ spoke of a rich man who placed his hope in riches and in the “fulfillments” of this world. Tragically, he regretted it afterwards when it was too late.

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. The reason atheists lack wisdom, knowledge and logic and cannot comprehend truth is because they have no fear of God. The Bible says only those who fear (respect, worship, honour) the LORD are the ones with true wisdom and knowledge. Those who deny Him have no understanding at all.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. (Psalm 111:10)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)

If you do not turn to Him, you will regret it. Atheists, I plead with you in love to think on these things. I know in your mind, because you cannot physically see God, that He doesn’t exist. But what about love and wind? You can’t see those either. There is more to life than being a blob formed from primordial soup, being formed with no intentions, no love, no power behind why you exist. You exist for a reason, not by accident. It’s not me who is claiming that your life is meaningless, it is you that claims your own life is meaningless by your own belief system and your own life. Because you believe that you were not specially and purposefully created by God, nobody and nothing is special to you because you’re just a happenstance. Life isn’t special to you because nothing chose to create your life. By your own life and beliefs, you claim misery and purposeless. Without God, there is no purpose or meaning or joy.

You can give all the reasons not to believe in God (none of which are valid), but just the fact that you have life and exist should convince you enough. But you’re in darkness and therefore cannot see. You’re deaf and cannot hear the truth. Your deceived so you can not comprehend the truth. But I pray that your eyes open that they may see the truth, your ears open so that they may hear the truth, and your mind turn to the light of truth and reject the darkness you have been living in.

If you don’t trust in Jesus Christ repent and turn to Him for the forgiveness of your sins, you will end up separated from Him for all eternity. I don’t want that for you or anyone, which is why I took the time to write this in a post. This is all said in love but if I truly love, I will be honest and that’s what I have done. I will pray that you will put your faith in Jesus so that you may have true life.

I plead with all atheists who read this to please search the scriptures with an open heart. Realize that you could be mistaken in your belief that there is no God, and humble yourself before Him. Turn to Him and believe on His name and you can have eternal life. To be free of a meaningless life, you must possess eternal life. Without it, death resides. Please think of these things written here today before it is too late and you take your last breath. you never know when that last breath may be. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.

God loves you more than you can ever fathom, more than you have ever felt, and beyond what you can comprehend. He’s worth trusting, He’s worth loving, He’s worthy of your faith. Please stop believing in yourself as your saviour, and start believing in the only One who can save you and the only one worthy of worship: Jesus Christ the one true God. Please seek Him before you die and it’s too late. Grab a bible and read. It’s where the only truth lies.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

I pray atheists will see the truth.

  1. This is a lot of work you put forth to regurgitate a lot of failed accusations and arguments. Atheism is actually proof that man can be tested more than he can bear—with knowledge. Your god has gotten smaller and smaller through the centuries. Nearly every single belief about god is simply understood by observations From climate and lightening to mountains and disease processes, no biblical teaching has ever supplanted a scientific discovery.
    Belief is the biggest obstacle facing humanity. No results, errant outcomes where belief is the root of all division and strife. Faith is simply observed in your reply where without intellect one can feel accomplished by mere belief. It’s a neat trick the Bible plays on the foibles of human psychology. The natural man is actually the believer. Christianity has given props for something most men can’t help but do. Everyone has a belief they will die for, yet here we are after 3500 years of Yahweh with absolutely nothing to show, but more belief.
    Your copy and past evolutionary explanations are evidence of your lack of understanding, not for a god to do what nature does nicely in its own. Or this is a created, synthetic, not natural world at all.

    1. Hi Jim thanks for the reply, let the Lord be magnified! I’d like to ask, you said “what nature does nicely in its own”. That’s very interesting are you willing to say that “nature” created itself? And if not then what was before nature? Was the “big bang” before nature? Are you saying all of creation came from nothing? Looking forward to your response. Feel free to send your atheist friends over.

      As for the “natural man”, this is what God says in His word.

      1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

      Which means you’re carnal and are in great need of salvation.

      2. False. Say “straw man” all you want in order to fit your man-made philosophical arguments based on lies, but no matter how much you disbelief in something does not make it true. The truth is is that GOD existed before any ‘big bang’. In fact, there’s no such thing as a ‘big bang’. You’ve been lied to about all of it (eveolution, apes, etc etc etc etc etc etc). You need to repent of your unbelief and seek God, trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and eternal life. He is real whether you believe or not, He is real whether you like it or not, and you will find out either in this lifetime or after you die. But I plead with you to seek, because it will be a horrendous thing to die and face the judgement of God.

      3. How do you explain the observed red-shift of galaxies if, as you imply, the galaxies are not receeding? Your explanation needs to agree with the real world otherwise it is obviously false.
        Your capricious threats do not change the above-mentioned problems.

  2. The was never nothing. You be hard pressed to prove there ever was nothing. If what you say of nature is a sequence, then who created god, and not some more Bible tripe making scientific claims without explanation? This is where science is winning bit by bit by showing how it is done. Not just empty claims. Even consciousness itself would preclude a god, for without consciousness there would be nothing. But that for another day.
    You really are looking beyond the mark. The mystery is there is no mystery. Even the apocryphal texts illuminate that fact. But no one sees that because withheld information and faith. faith. It’s actually right under your nose.
    This incessant desire to get everyone to believe is the neurology of faith. It’s well documented but hey, that would be too easy. Humans are easily duped and very reluctant to admit so.
    I don’t suscribe to the Big Bang being the beginning of matter and violating the laws of conservation and energy. Nature is a manifestation of consciousness. This has been going on far longer that Yahweh can account for.
    I do gamba e a serious question though. In all the world there was a common thread that Christianity has destroyed. Core shamanistic practices and knowledge of human wholeness was practiced in every corner of the world. At one with the earth and a part of the living organism we call universe. It would really have been something when “go te into the world” had found other universal truths trickled out into the remote regions of the world that had Jesus signature, or Yahweh Elohim, anything to tie this truth to millions of years it practical knowledge. But nope, he was nowhere to be found but among a violent little tribe in a tiny strip of land. How could that be? Weird. Seems that your universal truth had to be shared at the point of a sword for over 1500 years, decimating beautiful ways of being.
    I was a believer 45 years. Read it all, prayed it all, and supported it all. It’s a con game. Nothing adds up to the promised outcome. After 2000 years of a near monopoly —nothing but waiting and judgmental divisiveness.

      If you claim “There was never nothing”, then what was there in the beginning?
      To answer your question “If what you say of nature is a sequence, then who created God?”.
      No one created God, God is eternal you should know this if you were a “believer of 45 years”.
      That’s foundational truths of the Christian faith. Being that God created all things.

      Genesis 1:1-5 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

      Therefore God always existed outside of time and space. Everything else had a beginning meaning the sun, moon, stars, humans, animals etc. Have been created by God. It would be absolutely crazy to think a building made itself. The universe is not eternal if you’ve ever looked into thermodynamics you would find out that all energy has an endpoint. As for science, the only reason why science is around is because God made energy and matter etc.

      Without any of these basic needs scientist need in order to test their findings science wouldn’t exist. Science actually proves the existence of God. I’m not sure what you believed those last 45 years but it doesn’t seem like you know much about the Christian faith. All Christians know that the “apocryphal texts” are not inspired by God. By you’re statement I would think you were raised Catholic? Am I correct in saying that?

      If you were a believer may I ask do you have a testimony?

        I disliked the big bad wolf in little red riding. It is possible to dislike and comment on fictional al characters. And if your god is insulted, then I’m sure she/he/it can send a plague of locusts, or strike me down with lightening, or appear on my toast in morning (or whatever they do nowadays)

I’m pretty sure you didn’t comment on big bad wolf posts and spend your energy on it, because it’s false right? Yet you are on here, fighting against the living God.

        I’m exceptionally happy. I am in a loving relationship, I have two fabulous children, and a fantastic granddaughter. I’m surrounded by beautiful countryside. I love life. The only downer in life is Trump, Boris and Putin. But hey, life isn’t perfect! But I’m happy with my life. And it doesn’t matter if you’re a stranger or not; I’d tell that to anybody.

      I think it was you who came here first judging.
      Therefore, for you to say “Oh, and don’t judge me” is hypocritical on your part.
      God’s word says to judge righteous judgment, therefore, it’s alright for Christians to judge just as long as we are not being hypocritical.

      In-fact you make judgements every day, you judge who to talk with, if you would let a particular person in your home, who you would allow your kids to be around (if you have any) etc. There’s nothing wrong with judging as long as you’re not being a hypocrite.

      The verse most atheist (unbelievers) love to use is found in Matthew.
      Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

      Let’s read that in context.

      Matthew 7:1-5 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

      Notice: the text says “first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye”. We must first examine ourselves and be sure that we’re not doing the same things another person wold be doing if you’re going to tell them they are wrong.

    2. Jim, you are not being judged in a personal sense. We’re not here to judge you whatsoever. We were once unbelievers and so we can sympathize with where you are at and what you might have been through in the church. The church is full of flawed men, and is not God. God is God there are many in the church that are not true born-again believers, and therefore they do not represent Christ correctly. We are always here to talk about the things of God in a non-judgmental platform. We are more than happy to discuss the things of God and atheism etc, and we are definitely not shy to discuss these things. Sharing the truth doesn’t mean we are judging – we are simply just sharing the truth. God bless you.

        As for power, yes I do have the power. You don’t know us (who run this blog), what we have seen, experienced, or went through. We have the power of the Holy Spirit upon us, and trust me it is real. It’s easy for you to sit there and say it’s not because you never tasted the indwelling of the Holy Spirit or His salvation. I have been on both sides, I have hated God like you BEFORE I became truly born-again and placed my faith in Christ. We are all haters of God before we trust in Christ and are regenerated. Once I was born-again, I was filled with the Spirit of the living God and it changed my life drastically in a single moment. He’s real and there is nothing nobody can say to ever sway me to the left or to the right. You haven’t met Christians like us on this blog, I can most likely guarantee that. I’m familiar with the “christians” you have come across in your life and I am fully certain that those you have met were false exteriors in comparison to real Spirit indwelt, on fire, saved and zealous true Christians. God is amazing, beautiful, precious, wonderful, majestic and He is everything! Trust me, there is nothing like knowing Him. Better yet, trust Him.

        You won’t be blocked here so please don’t bundle us up with them. One last note, it’s atheist that’s the growing cancer because there’s a God who literally gave you LIFE and you spend your LIFE hating with a passion. Sounds like cancer to me.

      10. I completely feel for you and all that you went through. I understand you saw things and went through things in the church that has you where you are at today. I myself can relate because I went through terrible things in the “church” as well, a long time ago before I was actually saved and born-again. It led me to spend years not believing in and hating God and Christians alike. But after years, I came to the realization that God is real, and what I was exposed to were false churches and false Christians. Unfortunately, there are too many false churches to count who do not have the true love of Christ nor true biblical doctrine and lead people farther away from God. These are imposters and the Bible speaks abundantly about them. What must be realized is that there is a difference between God and these “churches” that do not truly honour God and people disguising themselves as true Christians yet not born-again. Many people fill churches who do not truly love Christ and do not have the Holy Spirit indwelling them, I have seen it. After what i experienced, I spend years hating God, Christian, and vowed to never step foot in a church based on what i experienced. But after years of this, without ever attending church or reading scripture, my soul and heart truly came to the living God. I came to Him one night in my bed in the middle of the night. I completely became exposed before Him, all of my heart, my questions, my insecurities, my doubts, my worries, my thoughts. I poured my heart before Him without holding back and I felt compelled to give Him my life truly and surrender to Him. And that’s when He forgave me, on the spot, regenerated me, justified me, and filled my with the Holy Spirit. My life drastically changed in one single moment in time. Whereas the day before, I had no desire for God, the next day I am waking up reading scripture and all of a sudden it’s midnight and I’m still reading scripture, day after day. Having a love for Him that I didn’t know existed within me, and experiencing a love from Him that is too great for words. Knowing that He’s real, that He loves me, He forgave me, and that He’s close to me and will never leave me…is too much for words to describe. I was reconciled to God and it had nothing to do with church or an alter call or waving my hands. Church in the bible is simply true believers gathering together to break bread and remember the Lord, when in today’s society much of it is man-made and not even scriptural. We must separate the two. True church is about true believers who have been born-again and love God, and after all the years I spent hating and being against God, I am so glad I surrendered to Him because He really is real and once it happens, you are changed completely from the inside out and never the same again. It’s the most pleasurable things on this earth that humans could experience, knowing God and being known by Him.

      11. It’s interesting to compare the two perspectives. I felt the same great calm when I had my moment of clarity. This blogging is just a hobby for me. My mind connects seemingly disparate topics all into one. I see it all as clear as day, but have taken a real interest in the spirituality of the indigenous people of the world. Panpsychism is not only spiritually accurate, but scientifically sound.
        The true believer is supposed to be meek and humble, but when they think that have it going it is actually a display of pride. They are likely to see themselves as the salt of the earth, possessing what everyone else should possess, and historically that has led to abuse. Every time we can recount, the salt of the earth took on the Jehovah effect, now you must do what I tell you to do and listen to what I have to say. It’s the way of faith, and left unregulated by law has led to tragedy time and again.
        Take the Catholics for instance. Is a coincidence that membership is fleeing as the church loses it ability to enforce?
        True there are no gods, but is there nothing else at all? This happening has been going on far longer than the prophets could even imagine with their conduit to heaven.

    I’m happier now than I’ve ever been. I was indoctrinated into Christianity from birth, but through my early teens through to my late teens I went through a period of agnosticism through to atheism.

    1. You can say you’re happy all you want, but sorry to be the bearer of bad news (for you, that is) but there is no way you are happy or content without God. I can say that with all certainty. Why? Because you have a heart beating inside of your chest, keeping you alive, all the meanwhile using that heart to have a seething hatred for the God that formed that heart that is second by second, keeping you alive. Sounds like misery to me. You may be able to fool yourself and others but I can see through that. You hate the God that gave you life and you will forever lack true meaning until you surrender to Him and repent of your unbelief. By the way, you were never a Christian nor were you born-again. Heating up a pew makes you no more a Christian than putting a steak on the snow hoping the snow will cook it. You’re indoctrinated into atheism, the biggest lie known to humanity. I pray you turn to the living God.

        Man made from dirt, woman made from man rib.
        Eve gives birth to two boys, then what?
        The flood is the biggest act of genocide (kills all known adults, children, infants and unborn babies) and ecocide, all because the perfect creator made an imperfect creation. And then similar to Adam and Eve, requires 8 members of the same family to repopulate the planet.
        I could go on, but it’s late. I’m not every going to convince you that there is no god, and that you can be happy without gods. You’re never going to convince me that there is a) a god and b) yours happens to be “the one true god”. So I guess we might as well agree to disagree

        Further, did you know that after the human body dies, eventually over a long period of time that body turns back to dust? It’s especially quick when a body gets cremated. What remains is dust! The fact that the body turns to a soil/dust material, and is made up of the same components of dust, proves the Bible is true. 6,000 years ago this was stated when only scientists recently figured this out! When the bible was written, there’s no way the man could just “know” that the body was made of the same components of what the ground was made up of.

        In addition, did you know that the rib is the only bone that is able to actually regenerate and regrow??!

        If the bible is “false” then how on earth did man know that the rib is the only bone that can regrow. This again proves the validity and divinity of the Bible.

        The flood occured because man was sinful and wicked and evil. Every man is born into sin and does vile things and deserves death. God did not make sinful man or a flawed creation, man chose to disbelief in God. In fact the first sin ever committed was atheism. Eve didn’t believe in God and wanted to be her own God, which led to the fall of humanity. God made creation and God can destroy it and you have no place to judge Him. He does offer forgiveness and hope in Christ and you have the opportunity to take it before you die.

        What I like about non-believers is that we can disagree. I do hate god. Good works of fiction (or even bad works of fiction) should be able to move the reader. Be it humour, suspense or hatred etc. I hated Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs, I laughed at Mr Tickle, etc. Equally I hated the genocidal deity called Yahweh. Doesn’t mean that I think Yahweh, Mr Tickle, or Buffalo Bill are real.

    In that Christians can’t agree on what “sin” is, no reason to believe any of them. Each creates their god and religion from their own personal hates and desires. Add to that the fact none of them can do what Christians are promnised to be able to do in the bible, and no reason to believe them at all.

    All in all, just the usual threats and fantasies from a Christian. There is no love there, only the need for external validation. No god or believer needed.

You seem to think it’s NOT true just because you fail to believe in the truth and in fact suppress it by lying to yourself. Whether you believe it or not, it IS true. And if you trust in Him, you will be given true life. This world will lead you to hell, the only way out is Christ.       Being that I have 2 bachelor degrees from a very highly reputable university, I would say that I know a thing or two about evolution and the big bang. You atheists love to foolishly assume that Christians are of a lower IQ, when you are the ones lacking reason and using emotions to hold up your disbelief in God. It’s funny because you have so much hatred for this God that you “supposedly” don’t believe in? Hmm. You know what? You actually do believe in Him, but you suppress it due to your hatred for Him and your love for yourself (trying to be your own God).

      1st I’m not a Catholic and Catholic’s are not Christian so I’m not sure if you’re aware of that because you keep mentioning ‘priests, nuns’.

        That’s pretty good that you know those differences. You see the ultimate difference comes down to who Jesus said He was.

        “Damn any man who sympathizes with Indians!” he says. “I have come to kill Indians, and believe it is right and honorable to use any means under God’s heaven to kill Indians.”

        And then, for emphasis: “Kill and scalp all, big and little.”

        He does just that. It’s a violent affair from the start.

        As the chaos begins, the American Indians raise American and white flags — symbols of peace. But Chivington ignores the plea, instead raising his arm for attack.

        Cannon and rifle fire rain down upon the village. Indians scatter. The hysterical militiamen charge, chasing down men, women, and children, killing them cruelly and without mercy.

        The unrelenting attack lasts most of the day. The militia uses more than 1 ton of ammunition.

        But once the shooting ends, the bloodshed doesn’t cease. Chivington wants victory, not prisoners. So, as the smoke clears, his militia slaughters the wounded. They scalp the dead, mutilating women, children, and infants. They cut off the women’s breasts and cut out their vaginas. They stripped the skin off the children’s backs to cure as leather. They cut off the men’s and boy’s scrotum’s to use as tobacco pouches and to wear as trophies around their necks. They ransack the village, taking supplies and livestock. Whatever is left, they destroy and burn.

        In all, Chivington’s men scalp, rape, and murder hundreds of Southern Cheyenne and Arapaho people. Meanwhile, the militia loses fewer than 10 men, mostly due to friendly fire and sloppiness.

        According to Congressional testimony in 1865 by John S. Smith, an American interpreter present at the time of the attack, the carnage was ghastly.

        “I saw the bodies of those lying there cut all to pieces, worse mutilated than any I ever saw before; the women cut all to pieces … . With knives; scalped; their brains knocked out; children two or three months old; all ages lying there, from sucking infants up to warriors … .
        By whom were they mutilated? By the United States troops who called ourselves Christians.”

        Over the following weeks, Chivington and his men were lauded in the Denver press by the editor of the Rocky Mountain News, William Byers, who wrote in December, “Among the brilliant feats of arms in Indian warfare, the recent campaign of our Colorado volunteers will stand in history with few rivals,” and that they had carried out a “thousand incidents of individual daring” and “once again covered themselves with glory.” Chivington led the victory parade of the now named Bloody Third Regiment into Denver to a hero’s welcome.

        Indian agent Sam Colley, outraged by the massacre at Sand Creek, wrote to U.S. Senator James R. Doolittle of Wisconsin, who was a member of the Joint Congressional Committee on the Conduct of the (Civil) War. Colley informed Doolittle that the Indians who had been attacked were peaceful and under the protection of his Indian agency and Fort Lyon. News of the massacre continued to spread and on January 10, 1865, the U.S. House of Representatives directed the Committee on the Conduct of the War to hold hearings to try to establish what took place at Sand Creek.

        On March 13 1865, the Committee on the Conduct of the War began congressional hearings in Washington D.C. regarding the events which had occurred at Sand Creek. Indian agent John Smith gave his eye witness testimony as to the atrocities he had witnessed carried out by Chivington’s men. Smith told how he had witnessed around 100 Indians, men, women and children, surrounded by soldiers who fired on them indiscriminately. Smith testified that he witnessed Indians killed from “sucking infants up to warriors…women cut all to pieces, worse mutilated” than he had ever seen before, with “their brains knocked out. And who was doing this? Christian military men.”

    The story of Moses is BS. There is absolutely no evidence of Moses plagues on Egypt. If the first born of Egypt died as described in the bible?   14. YOUR belief in a god has more to do with where you were born and who raised you, though there are always exceptions to this. But most of us? Were literally brainwashed into our religious beliefs because our parents were brainwashed into it, and so on down the line.

    IF you had been born into a Muslim country? YOU more than likely would be worshiping in the Islamist religion. If you had been born to a Jewish family? You would have been raised in the Jewish religious ways. If you were born into a Christian family? Odds are? YOU are a Christian.     The police became involved after three prisoners managed to escape. They alerted authorities to the ongoing situation after reaching a nearby hospital.

    A raid on the facility, which belonged to the local New Light of God Church, revealed a ghastly scene. Survivors, including two pregnant women and some children, had been bound and tortured, beaten with Bibles and wooden cudgels, cut with machetes, and burned in an attempt at exorcism and conversion that had lasted nearly a week at the time of the police raid.
    Seven more people did not survive the ordeal. Five of them were children. Their pregnant mother was also killed. The remaining murder victim was a seventeen-year-old neighbor. Their corpses were found in a freshly-dug grave not far from the ranch.

    One of the ten men arrested in the killings was the murdered children’s grandfather.

    Local prosecutor Rafael Bayoles says that murder was on the agenda for the remaining prisoners, too, if they failed to convince the church of their repentance.

    They were performing a ritual inside the structure. In that ritual, there were people being held against their will, being mistreated. All of these rites were aimed at killing them if they did not repent their sins… One of [the leaders] said God had given him a message. That message apparently boiled down to making everyone repent or die.

    Ten lay preachers — one of whom is a minor — have been arrested, but as yet very little is known about New Light of God: which denomination it might be affiliated with, what beliefs they embraced, and how they operated prior to the events of the week preceding the raid. A well-established local church with a similar name, Luz del Mundo, currently appears to have no ties to the group.

    The ten men who rounded up families to convert and the twenty-four people they tortured are all part of Panama’s largest indigenous community, the Ngabé-Buglé, a semi-autonomous region heavily affected by poverty. The area is so remote, injured parties had to be airlifted to hospital by helicopter — which makes the escapees role in the rescue operation all the more remarkable.

    Local leader Ricardo Miranda spoke up strongly against the group’s actions within the Ngabé community:

    We demand the immediate eradication of this Satanic sect, which violates all the practices of spirituality and co-existence in the Holy Scriptures.

    The scriptural justification the preachers used to back up their actions as biblical is unclear, but it shouldn’t take a holy book to recognize this as horrific.

        Let’s continue reading down and we will see the context of these verses.

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

        Notice these verses are not saying a Christian can’t judge, what it’s saying that we cannot judge hypocritically. This is why the text says ‘first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye’.

        Example: If I told you smoking is bad you shouldn’t smoke cigarettes. Then later on when I was alone I smoked cigarettes then I would be a hypocrite.

        But if I tell you you smoking is bad you shouldn’t smoke cigarettes, and I don’t smoke cigarettes then that would be fine. That’s called righteous judgement. This is why it doesn’t contradict another scripture which says Christians can judge.

        1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Therefore, there’s a judgment upon us because we have broken the Law of God, we have sinned by lying and cheating and stealing. This judgment is eternal damnation. However, God the Father loves us so much that He sent God the Son, Jesus, who died on the cross as a sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins. He died on the cross and physically rose from the dead three days later. This proves that His sacrifice was acceptable to the Father. Therefore, if you want to receive what Jesus has done to remove the wrath of God the Father, then you must receive Him and His sacrifice by faith. If you want forgiveness for your sins against God.

    1. God is perfect and Holy and He requires nothing less than His own perfection. But, we are not able to attain His holiness. He doesn’t lie, cheat, or steal, but we do these things. Therefore, there’s a judgment upon us because we have broken the Law of God, we have sinned by lying and cheating and stealing. This judgment is eternal damnation. However, God the Father loves us so much that He sent God the Son, Jesus, who died on the cross as a sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins. He died on the cross and physically rose from the dead three days later. This proves that His sacrifice was acceptable to the Father. Therefore, if you want to receive what Jesus has done to remove the wrath of God the Father, then you must receive Him and His sacrifice by faith. If you want forgiveness for your sins against God.

        Numbers 31:17 (Moses) “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.”

        Hosea 13:16 God promises to dash to pieces the infants of Samaria and the “their women with child shall be ripped up”. Once again this god kills the unborn, including their pregnant mothers.

        2 Kings 15:16 God allows the pregnant women of Tappuah (aka Tiphsah) to be “ripped open”. And the Christians have the audacity to say god is pro-life. How and the hell is it that Christians can read passages where God allows pregnant women to be murdered, yet still claim abortion is wrong?

        Psalms 135:8 & 136:10 Here god is praised for slaughtering little babies.

        Psalms 137:9 Here god commands that infants should be “dashed upon the rocks”.

        Judges 11:30-40 Jephthah killed his young daughter (his only child) by burning her alive as a burnt sacrifice to the lord for he commanded it.

        2 Kings 6:28-29 “And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow. So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.”

        1) Murder, rape, and pillage at Jabesh-gilead (Judges 21:10-24 NLT)

        Then they thought of the annual festival of the LORD held in Shiloh, between Lebonah and Bethel, along the east side of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem. They told the men of Benjamin who still needed wives, “Go and hide in the vineyards. When the women of Shiloh come out for their dances, rush out from the vineyards, and each of you can take one of them home to be your wife! And when their fathers and brothers come to us in protest, we will tell them, ‘Please be understanding. Let them have your daughters, for we didn’t find enough wives for them when we dest60royed Jabesh-gilead. And you are not guilty of breaking the vow since you did not give your daughters in marriage to them.’” So the men of Benjamin did as they were told. They kidnapped the women who took part in the celebration and carried them off to the land of their own inheritance. Then they rebuilt their towns and lived in them.         Obviously these women were repeatedly raped. These sick bastards killed and raped an entire town and then wanted more virgins, so they hid beside the road to kidnap and rape some more. How can anyone see this as anything but evil?

        Murder, rape and pillage of the Midianites (Numbers 31:7-18 NLT)
