Once again another Watchtower has been released for the month of May in which we find the following quote.

Please note the Watchtower is claiming that during the second century A.D. the Church Jesus Christ established was “overrun by false Christians”. This is a blatant contradiction to the Lord Jesus words in which we read concerning this found in the gospel of Matthew.
What does our Lord mean when He says “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (the Church)”? It’s pretty simple to understand that Christ was saying nothing will be able to go against His Church.
κατισχύω katischýō, kat-is-khoo’-o; from G2596 and G2480; to overpower:—prevail (against).
Yet the Watchtower is saying the Church was “overrun”? Who are we to believe the Watchtower or Jesus Christ? I’ll trust in the words of Christ. Watchtower goes on to say “From that time until the late 19th century, there was no organized group of God’s servants on earth”.
The early Watchtower came into existence in the 1800’s during that time other “restoration” movements began. If there were no true Christians until Charles Taze Russell founded the bible students which later became known as the Watchtower/Jehovah Witnesses under Joseph Franklin Rutherford then the Church Christ created died out according to this article. Who was God using before the Watchtower came to be?
Who was a Christian then between the ascension of Jesus Christ until Charles Taze Russell came? Do you see the significance of such a statement? The Watchtower is saying they alone are the only “true Christians” in the world. We see that in this next portion of the statement “From that time until the late 19th century, there was no organized group of God’s servants on earth”.
In essence they’re saying God had none who were “true Christians” and are calling Jesus Christ a lair because Christ said “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (the Church)”? The Watchtower says “false Christianity hid the identity of true Christians”. If you’ve ever spoken with a JW before you might hear them say “what other group do you know in the world is preaching from door to door”.
The mindset of a Jehovah’s Witness is no one is preaching, no one is fulfilling the great commission the Lord Jesus has commanded for us to fulfill found in the Gospel of Mark.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
The Watchtower fails to see that Christian missionaries have been going to other countries preaching Christ for centuries. An easy search for Christian missionaries history will bring up a slew of information on this subject. Christian missionaries have preached all over the world including Ghana (David Livingstone), Guatemala, Japan etc.

Anyone who follows Jesus Christ is a true Christian, it’s quite amazing that the Watchtower denies so many biblical truths which Christianity has believed and taught throughout the centuries. The greatest truth being of Jesus Christ deity as God, yet Jehovah’s Witnesses claim to be “true Christians”? How can one be called a Christian if they deny Christ?
The very word Christian bears the name of Christ, to be a Christian means you’re a follower of Jesus Christ and proclaim His name to a dying world. Have you noticed Jehovah Witnesses never pray in the name of Jesus Christ, they rarely mention His name.
Χριστιανός Christianós, khris-tee-an-os’; from G5547; a Christian, i.e. follower of Christ:—Christian.
The only name that comes forth from a Jehovah’s Witness is “Jehovah” not Jesus Christ. Isn’t that interesting?
Whatsoever Things Are True 
“ Christ was saying nothing will be able to go against His Church.” This is observable rubbish as the church itself became the epitome of what it claimed to be against. It is the Antichrist itself and proved that every time it had the power to enforce its doctrine, it did. The ongoing result of Christianity has been a disaster. Thankful today it is now watered down enough to finally find some respite.
Is it any coincidence that today, the safest time in history to be alive is also the same time the world is more secular than ever? No coincidence at all.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Notice: men will be lovers of their own selves (selfishness), covetous (greedy), boasters, proud (lot of that going around these days), blasphemers, disobedient to parents (children today who think they know everything), unthankful (have you given God thanks today for all you have?), without natural affection or true love (lust, fornication, homosexuality etc.), trucebreakers (can’t keep a promise), false accusers (baring false witness), incontinent (without self-control), fierce (violent, sounds like the ‘tolerance’ movement), despisers of those that are good (people who hate Christians), traitors (backstabbers), heady (rash, reckless), highminded (full of themselves), lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God (God haters), having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof (those who say they believe in God yet willfully sin).
2 Peter 3:3-10 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
This sums up all unbelievers who mock and ridicule, there will come a day in the which all the mocking and laughing will end. This is why the warning is so great!
Colossians 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Come to Christ Jesus. Jim you don’t have to die in your sins God made a way out for you to have life and peace with God.

I don’t have any sins. Don’t judge me. more secular than ever only proves that the less religion there is enforcing everyday life, the better it it for everyone.
I’m curious, why the special pleading? You quote scriptures which is fine, but statistically across the board life is better than it ever was, and more secular than ever before. Infant mortality is way down, lifespans are up, extreme poverty is down in terms of billions of people over the past fifty years, and even abortion is down 25% since 2011. Things aren’t getting worse, they’re getting better and better. Christianity need a catastrophe to prove its point, but the reality is your chances of living out your normal lifespan (or even beyond that) is greater than any time in known history. Quote scripture all you want, but don’t forget to look around.
On the other hand, the JWs are an interesting lot. I’ve said many times, you can tell a Jehovah’s Witness, but you can’t tell them much. Ha!

Jim you do have sins, if you’ve ever told 1 lie in your entire life that’s sin.
If you’ve ever been angry at someone God calls you a murderer at heart that’s sin.
If you’ve ever been drunk (drunkenness) that’s sin.
If you’ve ever had sexual relationships outside of the bonds of marriage that’s sin.
If you’ve ever lusted after someone sexually that’s sin.
Idolarty, covetousness, blaspheme etc.
“across the board life is better” really Jim come on let’s be honest.
The number of homeless people is increasing.
People are murdering their babies in abortion clinics.
Wars around the world.
Civil unrest.
Lewdness running rampant with ‘pride festivals’ and children being exposed to it.
Greediness (money).
Oh the sin in the world is very great!
Additionally, the Bible calls you a liar if you say you have no sin.

If abortion rates do fall and I pray to God that they do, it’s because of Christians preaching the Gospel.
Standing outside of these murder mills and pleading with people not to kill their children.
Those who tend to be pro-life typically are of the Christian faith.
We can agree on one thing yes the JW’s are definitely interesting but my spirit grieves for them because they’ve been deceived by a group of men who claim to be the ‘only channel’ of God. I hope you get saved Jim I want to see you in heaven.

Christians preaching the gospel isn’t the reason for the fall in abortion rates. Education is the key. Not sure why Christianity always fights sex Ed, but it works and they get the results they want. It’s just not for the religious reasoning, so I suppose that’s more important?
Well, I don’t drink, I don’t swear, I don’t have affairs, and I live a very temperate life. I’ll be fine because there is no monarchial boss in the sky keeping tabs on me. If he’s real, not even caring for his own children. I do.

Jim let’s be real, education is not the key.
They teach kids in school it alright to have sex but use ‘protection’, and if they get pregnant then PlannedParent Hood is the solution.
I remember when I was in school and had ‘sex ed’ that didn’t help anything all it did was encourage me to be promiscuous; to sleep around.
Christians don’t advocate for ‘religion’ that’s not what Christianity is about, Christianity is about having a relationship with God when a person is born again. Religion cannot save anyone.
He’s real Jim but you can’t place the blame on God, you need to take responsibility for your own actions.
The blame lies with sinful men, because we all fall short including myself.
I’ve committed many horrible sins, the difference between you and I is that I had a moment in my life when I realised that I was a sinner and not right with God.
I knew in the very depths of my soul that I was on my way to hell if I died in that state.
You know cheating, lying, fornication, thief etc is wrong.
God gave you a conscience and your conscience convicts you of these things unless it’s seared.
The definition of Conscience means ‘Con’ (with) ‘science’ (knowledge).
God cares for us 100% but the real question is do you love God?
Because the fault is with mankind not God.
