There’s a thought in Islam that women are highly esteemed, Muslims will quickly point out that in the Qur’an there’s an entire Surah dedicated to the Islamic version of Mary (Maryam). Our quest today is to see how women in general (including Muslim women) are viewed.

Before we dive into the Islamic sources let’s briefly see how women in Christianity are viewed. Women in Christianity are highly valued and just as important as their male counterparts. While they both have different roles they complement each other.

Husbands, love your wives [seek the highest good for her and surround her with a caring, unselfish love], just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her

Ephesians 5:25

Husbands are commanded to love their wives as Christ loves the church and gave Himself for her (the church).^[1] We know Christ laid down His own life for the church, likewise, husbands should have unselfish Christlike love for their wives. Another writer in the Old Testament who is considered the wisest of men Solomon in Proverbs speaks on a woman’s value. She is described as a virtuous woman and “her price [is] far above rubies” (Proverbs 31:10 KJV).

Take the time to read chapter 31 in the book of Proverbs and you’ll see just how highly valued godly women are. They are a blessing to their husbands and cherished. Now getting back into Islam we have this comment from a Muhammadan (mostafizurpranto4417) who said women are “precious things” in Islam they’re called “queen of the house”

Let’s find out if this is true? According to Islam, a prayer can be “annulled” or more simply said “severed” by 3 things. Those being a dog, a donkey and a woman.^[2]

Notice the words in the reaction of Aisha she was appalled and offended by what Muhammad said, she said “You have compared us (women) to donkeys and dogs”. Why are not men found in this list of things which cut off someone’s prayer? The value of women in Islam is that of an animal.

Muslims are shocked to learn that in Islam women are thought of as animals, I wonder if they consider the gravity of this statement. Do they not realise that Muhammad is saying their mother, grandmother, aunt and sister are no more than animals.

The same Muslim then wants to know where to find this particular Hadith, let me remind you he’s never heard of this hadith before otherwise he wouldn’t ask where to find it. Once presented with the Hadith you would assume he would conclude that he never heard of this and needs to look into this further by doing some research. Logical right? Now in the next 5 minutes, he’s become a scholar in this particular Hadith providing an answer.

Why the dishonesty? He said Muhammad didn’t compare the women to animals when the Hadith literally says “You have compared us (women) to donkeys and dogs”. He then contradicts himself saying “Comparing referred to here”. Wait but he just said “Muhammad did not compare” so which is it?

He goes on to say it has nothing to do with the “bad attribution” so on and so forth, what he really did was he went on Islam QA and copied pasted his answer from their website Confusion about the hadeeth which says that the prayer is interrupted by a woman, a donkey and a dog.

Why does the Hadith specifically target women lumping them with dogs and donkeys if this is not derogatory towards women? How about adding men to the Hadith if it has “nothing to do with the bad attribution”? All throughout Islamic teaching dogs are painted in a bad light and considered impure.

Muhammad had very nagative things to say about dogs saying black dogs are the devil ^[3] and he places women in the same list with dogs. What’s so bad about dogs? Yet the hypocrisy of their prophet is he took baths in filthy water which had dead dogs floating around in it.

He would have killed all dogs especially black dogs, why would he want to kill defenseless animals? It’s because he was pure evil and this is supposed to be a messenger of God?

Also I hope you picked up on the connotations of racism, why black dogs must be killed? Is it because Allah made white people from Adam’s right shoulder and will send them to paradise while the black people from Adam’s left shoulder will be sent to Hell?

Abud Darda’ reported God’s messenger as saying, “God created Adam when He created him and struck his right shoulder and brought forth his offspring white like small ants. And he struck his left shoulder and brought forth his offspring black as though they were charcoal. Then He said to the party on his right side, ‘To paradise, and I do not care’ and He said to the party in his left shoulder, ‘To hell, and I do not care’.”

Conclusions

Muhammad was a crazy man who hated women and dogs, the false notion that women are highly esteemed in Islam is a fabrication. Women are not allowed to marry 4 men but Muslim men can marry 4 women. Men can subjugate and dominate women even to the point of beating them ^[4]

If this is not enough Muhammad also said the majority of women will be in Hell-fire because they are deficient in intelligence because of getting their monthly menses (period) and are not of equal value to Muslim men.^[5] Any women who has self dignity would quickly leave this cult and stay far away from Islam.

Praise God for the truth in His Holy Word the Bible which gives women their rightful place, for fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10) and this makes her “praiseworthy” (Proverbs 31:30 NET)

Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women).” They asked, “Why is it so, O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) ?” He replied, “You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.” The women asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?” He said, “Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?” They replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?” The women replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her religion.” [Sahih al-Bukhari 304]
