Muslims worship a man who called himself Muhammad which means “the praised one,” they place Muhammad on a pedestal saying he was the best of all mankind. If this is true then looking into the poster boy of Islam would prove this to be fact, if it’s indeed true. Upon examining his life we see another picture portrayed, a life riddled with adultery, murder, deceit, lies and every other sin imaginable to the imagination.
A Muslim engaging with a Christian was frustrated because a Christian woman on a video who debated Zakir Naik and was exposing him was getting under his skin. He began to mock the woman and poster of the content, here’s his comment.

Muslims don’t like when they are exposed, therefore, they run to the Bible to get away from the madness of the Qur’an, Allah and Muhammad. Once they are triggered a majority will engage in name-calling believing that somehow this proves their point. Here’s the main comment I would like to focus on.

According to this Muslim’s comment, he clearly believes mental instability is bad, and started to verbally abuse others. Salrathor1 was asked the question if Muhammad was mentally unstable, his reply was…

He was then asked if a person tries to commit suicide is that a sign of mental instability?

Notice the hypocrisy of Muslims. First, he mentioned being in a mentally unstable position is bad, using it as an insult against someone else. Then when he was asked about the same situation in reference to his prophet, he changed his position and started defending it.
Let’s see if Muhammad was mentally unstable according to the Muslim sources? First, let’s define mental instability means.
A mental illness is a condition that affects a person’s thinking, feeling, behavior or mood. These conditions deeply impact day-to-day living and may also affect the ability to relate to others.
Mental Health Conditions — National Alliance on Mental Illiness
According to NAMI, the development of mental instability is the result of multiple factors ranging from genetics to one’s living conditions, another component can also be trauma. One singular event is not part of the cause, but a series of traumatic events do play a role in developing mental illness.
Muhammad the prophet of Islam fits the criteria of someone who suffered from mental illness. There’s a story in the Islamic sources which states that Muhammad became very depressed when “inspiration” from Allah stopped. the prophet of Islam would go to a mountain top seeking to commit suicide by throwing himself from the mountain.
This is an authentic Sahih Hadith from al-Bukhari proving Muhammad was mentally unstable. The Muslim salrathor1 was mocking and insinuating mental illness was not good, but the prophet of Islam was mentally disturbed, we will provide the link to Sunnah.com where you can find the Hadith.

The Hadith says that Waraqa bin Naufal died, he was supposedly a Christian whom Muhammad would learn from, notice, what does divine inspiration has to do with Waraqa’s death, was Waraqa a prophet delivering Qur’an to Muhammad? This Hadith says Muhammad tried multiple times to kill himself and Gabriel (Jibril) would have to keep telling Muhammad that he’s a messenger of Allah.[1] This carries severe implications as Muhammad doubted he was Allah’s prophet!
Suicide itself is not a mental disorder, but one of the most important causes of suicide is mental illness – most often Depression, Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depression), Schizophrenia, and Substance Use Disorders.
Suicide — Mental Health Literacy
This is a telling sign that Muhammad was a mentally ill person. When our Muslim friend suggested that W-Masih should seek professional counselling as in sitting down with a psychiatrist, would he make the same recommendation to his prophet?
Conclusion
If Muslims agree that being mentally unstable is not good then how is it they follow a mentally unstable man called Muhammad. Who attempted multiple times to take his own life by committing suicide? These are not the marks of a prophet of God, this is someone who needed psychiatric care.
Christians never have to worry when it comes to Jesus Christ, He was always in His right mind and never tried killing Himself. Wicked men took the Lord of Glory and crucified Him, and Christ allowed them to do it because He came to procure salvation for those who would appreciate His wonderful sacrifice. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for His sheep.

There was a divine purpose for the Lord Jesus laying down His life, being the most sacrificial action ever done in the history of mankind, to save others from eternal judgement. Muhammad had selfish ambitions, he wanted to be a prophet and thought to kill himself because he wasn’t getting revelations. Jesus Christ far superseded Muhammad in every aspect of His life. Wake up Muslims the real Jesus Christ who is God loves you and calls you to Himself for salvation.

Now none of God’s creatures was more hateful to me than an (ecstatic) poet or a man possessed: I could not even look at them. I thought, Woe is me poet or possessed—Never shall Quraysh say this of me! I will go to the top of the mountain and throw myself down that I may kill myself and gain rest. So I went forth to do so and then) when I was midway on the mountain, I heard a voice from heaven saying, “O Muhammad! thou art the apostle of God and I am Gabriel.” Ibn Isḥāq Muḥammad, and Alfred Guillaume.
