Atheism: The Greatest Deception of Humanity

Atheism

Atheists, in their pride and overwhelming arrogance spend their lives judging God – though by their own claim, do not believe in God yet spend their lives hating and judging Him – and making the claims that God is not real because of the evil that exists in this world. But what atheists fail to realize is that they’re using a moral compass not found in their own atheistic worldview. You see, in their worldview, there are no moral absolutes. No true right, no true wrong. Because if we believe we came from premodorial soup and this all exists from a “Big Bang” with no intelligent design behind it, then what is essentially believed is that intelligence came from non-intelligenceMorality came from no morality. Conscience came from no conscience.

This is type of thought-process is completely reversed from natural logic and reasoning in the human mind. No, natural logic tells our conscience that something always comes from something. That things don’t just appear out of nowhere with no intent behind it. Yet, atheists put on a false facade of intellect and say the absolute opposite of this natural logic. Atheists revel in being “logical” yet logic tells us that something designed has a Designer. That morality came from a moral standard. Knowledge came from higher knowledge. Wisdom from ultimate wisdom. Intelligence came from supreme intelligence. Human babies come from human mothers. Kittens came from cats. Learning comes from a teacher. A bruise came from a punch. A plane in the air came from the ground. I can go on and on forever listing these things off because the truth that everything came from something saturates the material and natural world around us. Yet – according to atheists, this world and everything in it came from… nothing?!? It is utterly illogical to believe that human thought, emotion, critical thinking, morality, conscience, love, not to mention all the physical aspects of this world – that all of these things would come from absolutely literally nothing.

Yet, though I am following natural human logic found in all of the material and natural world around me, I am the unintelligent one for believing in God. An atheist recently on my blog even had the audacity and blind arrogance to go so far to tell me that I did not have a double bachelors degree from a large respected university even after specifying that I indeed do. I have spent five and a half years of my life along with a little less than a hundred grand only for an atheist to come over to my blog and tell me, after reading one blog post, that I do not have a degree and I’m making it up – merely because he doesn’t like what I wrote and doesn’t agree with it. Why am I mentioning this? Because this kind of attitude, this willingness for atheists to literally say anything (even the most illogical, unreasonable, and foolish things including petty, childish, unfounded personal insults and attacks) in order to uphold and support their worldview, goes to show how they should not be trusted in anything else they believe. But I digress.

With their worldview and fundamental belief system that everything in the natural world came from nothing, they still decide to borrow the Christian worldview to judge the God, albeit claiming simultaneously that He does not exist. How a person can both claim something doesn’t exist yet judge it at the same time is beyond me. But this is the false logic and utter folly of atheism.

For atheists to judge means the atheist is setting a standard at which to judge. A standard of right and wrong. But I ask, how do you know right from wrong and why are you using morality to judge if your existence came from no intelligence, no higher power to which we must be accountable? To do so is borrowing from the biblical perspective in order to prove your atheism, which does not work logically and is therefore refuted immediately. I mean, since you came from a blob with no conscience, who are you to even say evil is wrong? Who are you to judge anything? Who are you to make claims what is right or is wrong, when you literally came from a blob? Therefore, you can’t say murder is wrong. You can’t say rape is wrong. You can’t say kidnapping is wrong, because oh, you are just a blob from nothing and you have no right to tell anyone else what is right or wrong, because they might not adhere to your morality (which you inherited from God).

Absolute morality (morality that you ascribe to), proves the existence of God because it means that all of humanity is ascribing to a higher morality, which had to have come from somewhere and would never come from a blob of chemicals from a big bang. You may say there is no absolute morality which means there is no higher morality (God) to adhere to). But oh, there is. Please answer this: is it always wrong to kill babies merely for one’s own personal pleasure? Think critically and honestly.

The answer is yes. And since the answer is yes, then there is indeed a moral absolute. And if there’s a moral absolute, where does it come from? A moral absolute set across humanity must come from something – or Someone – higher than us. And if there is one higher than us, then we are accountable to Him.

And His name is Jesus Christ. And everyone, including all of those angry atheists, know it.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. (Revelation 1:8)

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:31)

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. (1 Corinthians 3:19)

  1. There are better explanations for every single item here, “but god did it” will suffice the believer.
Your title here is skewed in proportion to the level of your religious delusion. “The greatest deception ever” perpetuated by 3-5% of the population, most who never post, write, speak about their atheism, nor do they concern themselves in religious discussion. Knowledge is the absence of delusion. You take of the gods from Abraham to present has no evidence. But they do appeal to faith ahead of intellect, securing religious conjecture for lifetimes based of who has the most sensitive hormones and best imagination. God has grown with human advances, while the believer sits back and claims god did it. Faith is the biggest barrier facing humanity.

    1. Don’t you say a “big bang” did it though? You are taking my arguments for God and saying I’m wrong but using the same arguments for your atheism. God is not a delusion, He is the Creator of all this beauty you enjoy daily. Enough with the evidence, honestly if Jesus Christ appeared in front of you in your face this very moment, I’m certain you would still deny HIm. He spoke a lot about this in scripture, people that refuse to believe even if they had all the evidence in the world. But, you do have evidence. That heart in your chest is enough evidence.

      1. I wouldn’t deny any such thing if he appeared right before me. I don’t think you know how important integrity is to me. It’s actually why I could no longer make excuses for “god” who never showed.
There is a lot of congruent evidence all around the world for something other than god. It was (and is) common thread throughout the globe in non contacted cultures, yet in all their varieties they had many things in common. That is really the only evidence on the planet for anything at all. Funny, nowhere you guys went had they ever defined the cosmos to equal even remotely Yahweh, who had to be force fed to the masses at the point of a sword for 1500 years.
Go ahead and throw some more spears. The Big Bang is a theory. Did you know there was never nothing? Did you know that indigenous people through the world explained spirit in near-exact terms? The universe (and us) are all one entity—an eternal happening.
The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that its center is really everywhere, it is within each of us—Black Elk, Lakota
He found this truth after his vision quest as a child. Almost word for word what Sitting Bull had also said, what the zen masters say, and the Babaylan Shaman of the Philippines and the Kogi and Kofan of South America, as well as the Eskimo and the African.
Life is what happens in between death, our natural state and our most natural existence, life goes and goes and always has as a product of consciousness. Not one tribe ever feared an afterlife because it is a process of life. It occurs naturally through its utility. Your hell and heaven are not natural to the truly awakened.

      2. I do know there was never nothing. God always existed. None of those spiritualists actually found truth, they only found their version of truth to fit their own needs, ie be their own God, just like atheists. These are all forms of being your own God because you are trying to determine what is true, instead of surrendering to the real truth of Jesus Christ that deep down, your heart knows is the actual truth. You can believe what you want, but your believe does not make something true. Truth is truth and it’s only found in Jesus Christ.

      3. This is entering ridiculous. You know nothing about it but you judge by the one and only thing you know. God did not always exist nor if he did could he predate consciousness.
None if them found truth? The best they could do actually aligns with physics, the laws of energy, and the teaching of billions of people and countless cultures. But you’re right, jesus created everything 70billion light years ago. Rrright

      4. How do you know it’s the “one thing I know”? You don’t know me whatsoever, what a claim to make about me yet simultaneously criticizing me for claiming to know others beliefs. Do you see where you err?

I’m sorry, but there are not “many” truths. You, who claims to value logic and intellect, should know this. All of these “truths” cancel out each other because they all contradict. Indeed, there is only ONE truth, and I don’t claim to know it, I *do* know it 100%. So you know what happened 70 billion years ago and are certain it wasn’t God, yet simultaneously criticizing me for stating God existed before time began. Too many errors to count.

You can say rrrrright all you want, but it doesn’t change the truth. The indigenous people were sorely wrong in their beliefs, they worshiped demonic forces of evil.

Again, the only Truth, the only Way, and the only LIFE is found in Christ. You won’t find it looking at all the other false religions and beliefs. No matter how much you resist, it’s only found in Christ and until you surrender, you will not have life.

I did not know then how much was ended. When I look back now from this high hill of my old age, I can still see the butchered women and children lying heaped and scattered all along the crooked gulch as plain as when I saw them with eyes still young. And I can see that something else died there in the bloody mud, and was buried in the blizzard. A people’s dream died there. It was a beautiful dream—Black Elk

      14. Why do you keep quoting this random man, as if he is truth himself? He’s not speaking truth at all, only falsified. No, the beauty of Christianity is that you have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You could never even begin to try to be sinless. You could never earn your salvation. Every other religion it’s all about man and their “good deeds”, working for salvation, trying to reach God. The beauty of Christianity is that God reached down to humanity in such a great act of love to sacrifice Himself so we could have eternal life through faith. And it’s in NOTHING good that we ever did, but everything good that HE did. And once we have eternal life, nothing can separate us from God’s love. Nothing. Your soul is safe in His hands. That’s the true beauty of Christianity. We love you, Jim! : )

what our author forgets is that morality isn’t agreed upon by Christians, so he has no place to speak about how his god is the source of objective morality. He cannot show that any morals come from his god or his religion. And this shows that his attempts to claim that atheists are using morals from anyone else, including him, are false.

He cannot show that his version of the Christian god exists nor can he show that other Christians are wrong.

So, what we have are Christians trying to pretend their personal morals are supported by a god, a false claim made in order to try to make people think they get agreement from a magical being.

What our author actually has is a subjective morality of “might equals right” since he is okay with his god doing what, hopefully, he would be horrified at if a human did the same. This god can murder children for the actions of their parents, can commit and command genocide, and can approve of slavery, to the point of telling slaves that they shouldn’t ever seek freedom, even if their owner is cruel. And the reason our author is good with this is because of what he thinks his god is, not that these actions are objectively wrong.

I’m quite happy to have a subjective morality that can get better than the morality of ignorant agrarians a couple of thousand years ago.

“Yet, though I am following natural human logic found in all of the material and natural world around me, I am the unintelligent one for believing in God.”

This is of course not true, except for the part about our ignorant author. He doesn’t follow logic at all. His ignorance about physics and reality put him in this position, as does his presupposition that a god is needed. There may be a beginning, but no evidence that our author’s god is needed at all. The laws of physics seem to do quite well for that thanks to evidence we have.

“Please answer this: is it always wrong to kill babies merely for one’s own personal pleasure? Think critically and honestly.”

You might want to ask your god this since it did it repeatedly. It didn’t have to supposedly do this, so it chose to.

As for your degrees, no evidence, no reason to assume you are telling the truth. And if you have degrees, so what? It doesn’t make you any more right or very smart at all. Plenty of people get degrees. That doesn’t make you special, especially looking at how ignorant you are here. That $100K seems to have been quite a waste.

oh and quoting the bible some more, author? gee, so not impressed again. No evidence for it, no reason to care what it says.

    1. Sir, thanks for reading my post. You have a lot of anger and hostility in your heart, so much so that you try to mock and insult me personally, although you are years upon years older than me and should essentially be an example of growth and maturity that the younger ones can look up to. But, you’re an atheist who lacks the love of God and therefore I don’t expect any love, respect, or courtesy from you. And, it’s okay sir, because I honestly take pleasure in all of your insults because they are for the glory of God. So by all means, continue on – I’m just glad you are reading and I do hope you will continue to read. : )

You are absolutely right, my degrees were definitely a waste of time, resources and money. Because my degrees were from a “secular” university that promotes and teaches falsities in this world, philosophy of man that will get one nowhere except hell, and information gain that has nothing to do with what is really important – the Lord Jesus Christ. I have no pride in my degrees, I only mentioned it because you shouldn’t treat people poorly and with disrespect even if you disagree with them, and calling names toward someone calling them stupid. That’s why I brought up my degrees – to let you know you shouldn’t be so ignorant to assume I’m stupid because I believe in God. I could care less about the degrees, as now that I am saved, I realize true wisdom comes from God and NOT man.

I stand behind everything I said about morality, as it is the truth. I don’t need to defend God, if you think he killed babies for His own pleasure, you are claiming He is sinning and that is a grave mistake, and you utterly do not know Him or scripture. He is all goodness and just and holy and beautiful and righteous and precious. And I will continue to quote bible verses because they are truth and your science books aren’t.

But I’m glad you are here and please keep reading! Not sure why you are so angry but I pray the Lord softens your heart, because this hostility and hatred will get you nowhere in life, definitely not closer to the truth of Jesus.

      1. Well, our author starts out with more bearing of false witness in order to make himself feel better. It’s also quite amusing to see him trying so hard to be insulting when he wants to falsely claim I am.

I am indeed an icon of growth and maturity who points out when people like you are lying and calls them on it. Leaving false claims stand isn’t what an adult does just because someone might throw a tantrum when they are caught.

Being that there is no god, no one has the “love of God”. You seem to think that only Christians who agree with you are capable of love, respect and courtesy. That is of course false, and we see again where a Christian tries to invoke respect and courtesy for a religion that deserves neither. You also try to play the martyr. It doesn’t work, but you do try very hard.
Our author now tries to change his tune on his supposed degrees. First trying to claim how we should be impressed with them, he now claims that his degrees are worthless. I suspect it is easier to now say this than admit there are no degrees. It’s a shame he has to benefit from all of that “false” information when he uses a computer that was created by someone who went to secular universities. One would think that someone who is so afraid of the real world would become an ascetic monk, and refuse to use anything from the “philosophy of man”. But of course, it would be inconvenient for our hypocritical Christian here. There is no reason to assume that our author is educated or terribly intelligent.
Author, you have failed with your claims about morality so it doesn’t matter if you stand behind false claims or not. You do find you need to defend your god for if you didn’t feel this way, you wouldn’t be an apologist again and again and again. I do find that your god does evil, if we are to believe the bible and its account of this god. I know scripture quite well and through that, all about the character of this god and those who would try to defend it.

We see again that your morality is nothing more than might equals right, that anything this god does is acceptable to you just because it is your god. Author, you surely may keep quoting bible verses. We can see that you have your own interpretation and other Christians have theirs, showing that there is no reason to think you or any other theist has any truth.

As I have time, I will read and counter your claims. Since I’m not angry, this is why you aren’t sure why I’m something I’m not. So, when your prayer that your god makes me agree with you fails, what is your excuse, author? Does your god hate you and your prayer? Does your god love an honest atheist? Or does your god not exist? You are limited in possibilities.

Yes, you can read it that way. But that’s a very linear way of thinking with almost no reflection, more so coming from listening to others without the time necessary for introspection and real consideration. That’s very common. And I know, myself, that I have much to learn. But I will say this, though fear and worry will lead to certain line of thinking, what I think has to come first is a real pondering, wondering, and desire to understand. Everything comes after. **We have the English translation of a long ago language when people had different experiences and a culture. But truth is truth. I don’t think anyone gets sent to hell. I think that’s where people live in the present, so when they die, that’s where they are. C.S. Lewis, whom I just started reading a couple of books this year, said something I had pondered upon years ago. It’s like a person who has opportunities. But each step of the way, he or she keeps choosing to do wrong for one reason or another. Perhaps angry at his/her childhood. Angry at the world. Always complaining. But not taking on the responsibility where responsibility could be taken. With time, they are where they will be when the end comes. Another pastor said it like this, when the end comes, two doors open up. The one who has never sought to understand leaps into hell, for they cannot stand the light of understanding. They’ve been running away from that light all of their lives. **I would venture to say seek on your own. For awhile maybe.

Yep, you do have a lot to learn, including that trying to claim someone didn’t think about something when they did doesn’t work.

You make up your own religion like every Christian. For you, you don’t like the idea of hell so you make something up. You ignore your bible when it says that this god picks and chooses who can accept it and who can’t, damning those who it didn’t choose for no fault of their own (Romans 9). You need to blame the victim to continue believing that you are special.

You also try the very very old attempt to claim that atheists simply couldn’t arrive to their conclusion because of evidence. No, you have to falsely try to claim that it was just emotional, that someone was disappointed with this god, was angry. Happily few atheists become that way for the reasons you cling to. You try to lie that people won’t take responsibility and are just “rebels”.

Your stories form pastors are what all religions say about those who don’t agree. They have to lie that anyone who doesn’t agree with them is evil.

Never was it meant to mean actually plucking out your eye, though there have been those who’ve taken things to extreme. I understand it to mean don’t look at things you ought not to be looking at, lusting, and such. I understand it to mean you would be better off without the eyes so as not to look and lust, for that’s how serious the sin is, but if you had that attitude, you would pray for strength and determine to stay away from those who encourage sin.

Don’t judge Christianity or the religion by the followers. There are those who understand and there are those who don’t but do what they do. It’s your road. In any walk of life, there are those who represent well and those who don’t. That doesn’t change what is true. That’s for you to seek and discover.

      13. Dolph, all Christians try to make this claim, and insist that only they are the ones who understand Christianity. Christians attack christians constantly.

That none of you can show that you are Christians per the tests in the bible so no reason to believe any of you are right.

And yep, I’ll judge Christianity by its followers. If I can’t, then your god certainly has failed if it can’t make this clear.

      14. What test are you referring to?
Drinking poision and not dying etc.
All atheist take those scriptures out of context.
Do you not understand that was talking about the apostles for that dispensation?
I don’t expect for an unbeliever to know about this because you’re spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

With time, we’ve realized everything a person says to deny creation actually proves it. But I didn’t want to be “learned” in this. What I mean is I had to work, have hobbies, go fishing, and just live before finding what I came to understand in books. C.S. Lewis anyone? Realization brought more realization, like what is understanding? Understanding isn’t something I gave myself. Awareness isn’t something I gave myself. At a very early age, I realized I existed, was very aware of this, then wanted to know how I came to be. Not growing up in church, I struggled for years, but I think this was a blessing, for the “not knowing” caused me to wonder and search. But since my mind told me others could be lying, I had to ponder and wonder. Eventually, I saw that I had actually known all along but hadn’t put the words to the music yet. Why wasn’t it someone else in this body? I knew the laws of probability and chance made absolutely no sense, but how did I know. And C.S. Lewis brought other points that gave words to other understandings.
He said something I, looking back, I had known. He said one of the things that made him an atheist is all the suffering in the world. He saw all the wrongs. But because he was truly searching, and understanding was continually pouring into him, he realized something very key. How did he know there was suffering in the world, that bad things happened to good people, that there was even “bad” in the world if we’re just a conglomeration of atoms, an accident, an evolved monkey, and just developing. In such a world, there would be no concept of right and wrong. But we all know there is.
An atheist is simply a person cutting the branch he or she is sitting on. An atheist is using the “understanding and awareness” given him to argue against the One Who gave it to him/her. There’s no getting around. An atheist also has to be playing god for only a god could know everything to know there is no god. But he/she doesn’t see this. For people find what they want to find, blinding themselves to reason. I’m not sure why. I suppose some have had tragedies, others not getting what they want out of life as one friend experienced.
At the same time, I can never judge an atheist, for I haven’t walked in their shoes. I don’t know why they say what they say, I just see the constant contradictions every time they speak or write. They don’t see their own contradictions, their own inability to follow the rabbit down the trail of reason. But then, I have also discovered some of my own blind spots. I’m glad that understanding has shown me many of my misunderstandings and clarified. But how is it that I know I was in blind spots and wrong? How is it when the light shows the errors? How is it when I’m certain of something?

Oh, and get ready for rhetoric and intellectual mumbo jumbo. And they’ll certainly attack my words. I get it. I think that’s what many are looking for.

    1. Amen, thanks for being here and commenting. Atheists greatly lack reason and they are sorely confused and blind. The devil has a great hold on them and they are walking toward eternal destruction. They have so much hatred in their heart that it’s palpable. They have a hatred for something they “supposedly” don’t believe in. It makes no sense. I have sympathy for them in that they are hurting inside, that is where their hatred comes from. But still, I won’t lie and say it’s hard or trying when they come at me and insult me with so much hatred. But, I glory in it in that I am experiencing the sufferings and rejections of Christ! To God be the glory. : )

“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.” John 15:18-21

Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

I will add one thing here. I understand why many people turn away from Christianity, for I’ve experienced the difficulties in churches and friends who are Christian. For instance, just recently, with a men’s bible study group, the leader (and perhaps one other), grew to dislike me (I guess I rubbed him the wrong way.), and slowly made it known by telling me I talk too much (Apparently supported by a couple of his friends.). That’s a technique some leaders use when they don’t like you. Yet, I would share from what I learned in scripture. I also listened very carefully to others, many who talked far more, yet they just nodded and were patient. A couple other attendees noticed this. So, I confronted him, but in his (what he thought) hidden anger, he said he just wanted to make certain that everyone could share (I listen most of the time, and sometimes say nothing.). So, realizing what really was, I will attend a different group. Such experiences, and in church groups, like one who insisted that we believe certain debatable ideas or we’re going to hell, can turn people off. I asked one question. If a person believes in his heart that God is, is love, created everything through His Son, then sent His Son for us, isn’t that the entire message. They said yes, but later demanded or required more beliefs that are debatable. Having said that, I would tell people not to judge the scriptures, or the religion, by the followers. Look to God and His Son. Remember Paul. He explained that He would be all things to all people so they would be encouraged in their faith.

Actually, I’ve rarely met that phenomenum. The Christian friends have shared we are all sinners, imperfect, and not to judge (condemn) others. Each person has their own walk, but they encourage and live the best lives they can. They pray for what they know they need, each day having it’s own difficulties. What you say isn’t across the board. But that’s for you to decide. If you’re really searching.

    1. Just curious are you speaking about a Joel Olsteen book? Jesus came to save sinners. It’s not about living your best life. That’s not to say you don’t go to others and show the love of Christ. The most important thing to do is speak the truth of God’s word and to warn people to flee from the wrath to come.

Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Luke 3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Question: What wrath is that if Hell doesn’t exist?

I understand you appear to be well-read regarding the scriptures. Good that you are reading. The difficulty, I find, is how people use the scriptures, for two people can read the same lines with different interpretations, which is why many have several versions. But I’ve noticed some versions of the bible, which doesn’t interpret exactly the same, and some verses seem to say something very different (i.e. The revised english bible and others), are no longer sold in stores or online, yet the people involved are extensive (many churches and people). I think, if a person is out to find problems, they’ll find them. We don’t have the original translations, so I think we have to read the whole bible and be careful not to take things out of context, but look to really understand, if that’s the purpose.
I think you’re correct about hell in the sense that’s where those who don’t seek God go. But remember, that is a choice. All of ones life, denying, doing one’s own thing. I don’t know if I will be in heaven. I want to be there. I hope. But I’m not God, and I’m certain He can find tons of faults. But according to scripture, through Jesus Christ we have hope. Remember, each person has the choice. And again, if one doesn’t want to be with God, doesn’t turn to Jesus Christ, where else are they to be sent? There are only two places to go: with God or without. And the without is with Satan, for He was the one Adam and Eve listened to in the garden.
Look. Go in the direction you decide. That’s your life. I don’t know what that life will entail. It’s your road. I don’t know if you’ll be in heaven or elsewhere. That’s for your Father in heaven to decide. But as C.S. Lewis, I might encourage you to keep following the rabbit down the trail, for in honest searching, you might find some interesting understandings. C.S. Lewis explained, when he realized the world was a difficult place, and knew things were wrong, he also realized how was it he knew right from wrong. That was part of the road that led him to realize we are created and that God is just and good. I believe He will judge us all according to what is right and good.
